Prison Advice and Care Trust Volunteer Mentor (Women’s Project)
Could you help women with convictions change their lives? The Prison Advice and Care Trust (Pact) is a national charity that provides support to prisoners, people with convictions and their families. We support people to make a fresh start, and minimise the harm that can be caused by imprisonment to people who have committed offences, to families and to communities. We are looking for volunteer mentors to support women with convictions resettle back into the community through practical and emotional support. This could include: supporting and accompanying women to appointments and meetings, help obtain ID and bank accounts, assist them with reading and completing forms and to be an advocate and act as a conduit on behalf of the women.
