Groundwork: River Rangers – Colne Valley Regional Park
The Colne Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme are looking for local residents to become River Rangers to help, conserve, survey and champion your local watercourse. Volunteer play a key role in monitoring and reporting on a small stretch of river across Colne Valley Regional Park. Possible activities include: monitoring water quality, invasive species surveying, practical conservation days, litter picking, nature walks and much more. You can chose how often you contribute; 2 hours every month, or once a year. No experience is needed, training will be provided and each volunteer will fully supported by the Landscape Partnership scheme.
